Our HZC Power mini excavators are characterised by robust workmanship and offer excellent value for money. How much does a mini excavator weigh?
A mini excavator is mainly used on small construction sites, such as in gardening and landscaping or in earthworks. The weight of a mini excavator varies depending on the model and size. In general, one speaks of a mini excavator if the operating weight is between 0.3 and 3.2 tons. Our HZC Power mini excavators with chain drive weigh around 0.52 - 0.94 tons, although the walking excavators and four-wheel excavators are the lighter versions.
How wide is a mini excavator?
One of the advantages of small excavators is their compact size, which allows them to get almost anywhere. Some of our high-quality machines even have an adjustable undercarriage so that they can fit through doors, narrow garden gates or tight passages. For example, our most popular models BKB851K and the DKB881 - the mini excavators with tracked chassis and swiveling excavator arm - have a width of 90-110 cm. You can also find the dimensions of the excavators in the respective product description under the technical data. We also have very narrow excavators such as the SBKB765 and SDKB790, which have a width of 68-88 cm.
How deep can a mini excavator dig?
The maximum digging depth of a mini excavator depends on its size. A 3.2 ton mini excavator can dig deeper than a small 0.3 ton excavator. Our tracked excavators have a digging depth of 1650 mm, a reach on the ground of 2400 mm and a loading height of 2610 mm. On the other hand, our soil-friendly mini excavator with wheels has a digging depth of 1280 mm, a reach on the ground of 2200 mm and a loading height of 2140 mm.
How much does a small excavator cost?
Prices for mini excavators vary greatly depending on the model, complexity and additional equipment. Our models start atapprox. 5000 euros for walking excavators and approx. 8000 euros for mini excavators with tracked chassis. We offer both diesel and petrol models, both with and without a swiveling excavator arm.
Mini excavators from HZC: equipment and accessories
Our 375 mm wide excavator bucket (BBS375) is already assembled on delivery so you can work with it straight away. This blade width allows for a variety of applications. When you purchase our excavator, you will also receive our BBS610 trench shovel, which is particularly suitable for large-scale excavations due to its width.
Additional attachments - such as shovels and drills as attachments - are included depending on the micro excavator or can be purchased individually, as well as the necessary accessories:
The BRZ25 ripper is ideal for loosening up very hard or stony soil, making subsequent work easier and more efficient.
The gripper (SH360) is a popular accessory among our customers and offers a wide range of uses to optimize your work.
The 200 mm wide bucket (BBS200) can be easily mounted using the quick coupler and is ideal for narrow trenches, for example for pipelines.
An integrated control unit can be added for additional hydraulic accessories such as caulking hammers or earth drills. We also offer an 810 mm wide trench shovel and a practical rake (RE5) as additional accessories.
